Sonnenschein batteries are manufactured in Germany and are known internationally for the superior dryfit technology. The Gel batteries have excellent energy storage capacity combined with high reliability. They are maintenance-free during their whole service life due to the Sonnenschein dryfit technology. The nominal capacity ranges from 1.2AH – 200AH. They have a 7-year design life at 20oC ambient temperature. The grid plate construction consists of a lead calcium alloy. The batteries have very low gassing due to the internal gas recombination. Sonnenschein batteries also have a very low self discharge rate, a short recharging time and proof against deep discharge according to DIN 43 539 T5. There is trouble-free transportation of operational blocs, no restrictions for rail, road, sea, and air transportation (IATA, DGR clause A 67). In addition, Sonnenschein batteries are completely recyclable.
